Peaceful Kingdom Adoptions & Rescue

Meet TimberVik, another Petersen's Ferret from Pet Pros in the Boulevard Mall. This little guy came to our rescue straight from Pet Pros, his teeth were rotting so badly to the point of them just falling out, which caused him to bite viciously to the point where he latched on to anywhere he possibly could and tore flesh, he was being firmly flicked and hit in the face at the store for biting, adding to his pain. He was also overcome with ear mites to the point of his ears bleeding severely and to top it off, his fur began to massively fall out, due to malnutrition (Note in picture above) and as far as we could see his litter-mates all appeared sick and lethargic as well. TimberVik seemed to have needed the most help so we purchased him. Since we have limited resources we could not afford to purchase the rest and Pet Pros would not let us take custody of them willingly. Pet Pros also did not even attempt, acknowledge or even, supposedly, notice these issues until we notified them after TimberVik's Vet visit. I NEVER refer people to Pet Pros, if you have read the story on Opi the ferret that is just one more reason to dislike them.

After painstaking hard work on the rescue's part as well as countless medical treatments, and rehabilitation, TimberVik has come a long way (see below, yes his fur lightened to a light brownish silver. =^.^=) You wouldn't even be able to tell this was the same ferret that came to us months ago. TimberVik is now 8 months old and totally healthy and sweet as ever and most of all he is no longer in pain nor filled with fear, he is HAPPY! He even gives us kisses as if to say thank you, it is as if he knows what we did for him.
